Déjà vu
across my window
silvery skies unfold shimmering sheets
brown streams
hop onto the grey road
from green sidewalks
a child joins
the crisscrossing
rivulets
his ginger skin
glistens
droplets slither down
his black hair
wrap his face in wet
embrace
a red car speeds through puddles
murky water erupts
drenches him
his white teeth sparkle in the rain
a long forgotten whoop
escapes my lips
