In his long career, Dr
Dosajh (1916-2005) was a doyen in the field of Psychotherapy. He was recognised
by the professional community in many ways. In 1956, he was sent as a UNESCO
Fellow to work at the International Institute of Child Study at Bangkok and was
a Guest Professor at the PGI for over 20 years. Using the foundations of
western psychology and Indian systems, he fused yoga and meditation with
psychoanalysis to create his own theory which he calls the New Personality
Theory. With improvised techniques, the doctor cured dozens of patients
suffering from schizophrenia, personality disorders and so on.
This book (edited by Randeep
Wadehra and Pooja Kapoor) can be of immense value to students and researchers
in the field of Psychology, as well as to the professional psychiatrists and
psychotherapists.

Testimonial
This centenary edition of the book on Psychotherapy, which has been updated and revised by Randeep Wadhera and Pooja Kapoor is an excellent piece of reading and self-counselling. It has deeply delved into the unconscious mind of humans and how a combination of traditional eastern wisdom of Yoga combined with western concepts of Psychotherapy can heal the ailing human minds. It's an eye-opener for a layman and a guide for the professional. Our deep sense of gratitude and appreciation for both Wadhera and Kapoor for this exclusive and wonderful effort.
